Altryn — Track, Trail + City Editorial Series

Full Production | Model Sourcing | Photography + Motion

Altryn challenged us to build a complete visual language across three connected shoots — track, trail and city — each representing a different facet of the brand’s performance identity. The objective was to create authenticity, range and continuity while allowing each location to have its own energy and character. Across all three productions, 2812 delivered full-service support including model sourcing, location scouting, creative direction, photography and on-set content creation.

Trail — Technical, Raw, Real

For the trail editorial, we focused on terrain-led storytelling. We handled full production: sourcing runners with natural movement, scouting mixed landscapes and developing the mood direction and shot flow.
The locations were intentionally challenging — steep climbs, uneven ground, open landscapes and shifting weather conditions. We captured stills and motion with a focus on texture: grit underfoot, breath patterns, sweat, pace and elevation.
Nothing stylised, nothing staged — just the real mechanics of running outdoors.

This shoot established the foundation for Altryn’s visual identity: raw, grounded and built on performance.

Outcome — A Unified Performance World

Together, the Track, Trail + City productions created a complete and cohesive visual world for Altryn.
Each shoot served a distinct purpose, but collectively they built a narrative that stretches across environments and athlete types.

  • Full production management across all three locations

  • Model sourcing aligned with physical capability and visual identity

  • Mood direction + styling oversight

  • Photography + social-first motion captured simultaneously

  • Consistent storytelling across varied locations and conditions

The combined output strengthens Altryn’s position in the performance running space — honest, technical and rooted in the reality of how people run.

Track — Precision, Form, Speed

The second phase moved to a running track environment, focusing on form, speed and repeatability. Clean lines, measured pace, controlled movements — the opposite of the trail’s unpredictability.
We cast athletes who could deliver consistent technical performance, giving us the ability to capture stride, posture and rotation with accuracy.

Production centred around early-morning light, uninterrupted lanes and a minimal setup to maintain clarity.
Stills and short-form motion were captured for campaign use, product demonstrations, social reels and retail partner content.
The result was a series of precise, rhythm-led visuals designed to show the mechanics of Altryn’s apparel in motion under structured conditions.

City — Pace, Pattern, Navigation

The final shoot transitioned into an urban environment. We developed a location flow that moved from quieter side streets into busier city textures — concrete, glass, shadows, traffic, rhythm. This shoot needed to feel relatable and wearable, showing the clothing in day-to-day scenarios without losing performance credibility.

Casting focused on runners with personality and presence, ensuring the images felt lived-in rather than overly polished.
Content was captured documentary-style: turning corners, stopping at crossings, weaving through streets, shifting pace as the environment changed.
This series highlighted the adaptability of the collection — built for movement, whatever the backdrop.
